Our terms

Terms & privacy

We like to keep things simple and transparent. This page explains what happens when you book a meeting with us, hand us a business card at our booth, or get in touch around MEDICA 2026 — and how we look after your details.

Last updated: 30 August 2026

1. Who we are

Cetro Medical AB, company registration number 556096-7522, Nitgatan 11, 333 33 Smålandsstenar, Sweden. We are the controller of the personal data described below. You can reach us any time at info@cetromedical.se.

These terms apply to this booking portal and to the contact details we collect in connection with MEDICA 2026 in Düsseldorf.

2. Booking a meeting

  • Booking a slot is free of charge and creates no purchase obligation for either side.
  • A booked time is reserved for you, but remains provisional until we confirm it. Trade fair days move quickly, so we may occasionally need to reschedule or cancel a slot — we will always try to offer you an alternative.
  • Need to change or cancel? Just email us at info@cetromedical.se and we will free up the time for someone else.
  • Please provide accurate contact details so we can reach you if anything changes.

3. What we collect

  • When you book: your name, company, role, email, phone number, country and whatever you choose to write in the message field.
  • When you give us a business card: the details printed on the card, plus a photo of the card itself, which we keep so our team can verify what was written on it.
  • Notes from our meeting: a short professional summary of what we discussed and any agreed next steps.

4. Why we use it, and on what basis

We use these details to plan and run meetings at the fair, to follow up on business conversations, and to answer questions you have asked us.

  • Booking and running the meeting: steps taken at your request prior to a possible business relationship (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Business follow-up and contact management: our legitimate interest in maintaining professional B2B relationships (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object to this at any time — see section 8.

We never collect special categories of data (such as health, religion or political views), and we ask you not to include such information in free-text fields.

5. How we use AI

To save everyone time, we use software to read business cards automatically instead of typing them out by hand, and to help us prepare properly for a meeting.

  • We may look up publicly available professional information about you and your company — for example your role from a company website, or what your company does — and summarise it in a short internal note.
  • We restrict this to professional context only. We do not look into private life, social media profiles of a personal nature, or any sensitive information.
  • The summary is an aid for our team, not an automated decision about you. A person always reviews it, and no decision with legal or similarly significant effects is made automatically.
  • If you would rather we did not do this for your card, just tell us — at the booth or by email — and we will remove the note.

6. Who can see your details

Only authorised Cetro Medical staff working on MEDICA 2026 have access to this portal, and access is protected by individual logins.

We use a small number of technical service providers — hosting, database and AI services — that process data on our behalf under written agreements and only on our instructions. Where such a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, we rely on the appropriate safeguards permitted under GDPR.

We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with third parties for their own marketing.

7. How long we keep it

We keep contact details for as long as the relationship is relevant, and at most 24 months after our last contact with you, after which they are deleted. Business card photos are removed once the details have been verified. If you ask us to delete your details sooner, we will.

8. Your rights

You are entitled to:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
  • have inaccurate details corrected;
  • have your details deleted;
  • ask us to restrict how we use them, or receive them in a portable format;
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interest, including any follow-up contact.

Email info@cetromedical.se and we will handle it, normally within one month. If you are not happy with how we handled it, you can lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY, imy.se) or the supervisory authority in your own country.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

We keep this simple. This portal uses strictly necessary cookies and local storage to make it work — keeping you logged in, protecting forms against abuse, remembering your cookie choice and keeping your session secure. Under the Swedish Electronic Communications Act and the ePrivacy Directive these do not require consent, and they cannot be switched off without breaking the site.

Anything beyond that is optional and is only stored after you have actively allowed it in the cookie banner:

  • Preferences — remembers choices such as language or selected event.
  • Statistics — aggregated, anonymous usage measurement so we can improve the portal. Nothing is loaded until you consent.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share data with ad networks. Consent is stored for up to 12 months, is as easy to withdraw as it was to give, and refusing optional cookies never limits your access to the portal. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via or by clearing your browser storage for this site. Necessary cookies are set under our own domain; embedded external content, such as the fair's interactive hall plan, is governed by that provider's own cookie policy.

10. Use of this portal

The information on this site is provided for general information about our participation at MEDICA 2026 and about our products. Product information is not a binding offer, and specifications may change.

We do our best to keep the portal available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that every detail is free of error. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site, for temporary unavailability, or for loss caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. We also link to external sites — such as the fair's interactive hall plan — and we are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.

11. Changes to this page

We may update these terms as our work around the fair evolves. The date at the top shows when we last did so. Swedish law applies, and any dispute is heard by Swedish courts.
